WiFi eliminates the need to conceal wiring by running wires through your wall, ceiling, floor, or table. This is accomplished by connecting wireless TeamBoard radios to your computer and TeamBoard.
Technology: Although WiFi is typically used to connect computers to networks, the TeamBoard WiFi connects your Serial TeamBoard to your computer.
Installation: The first physical component is the Receiver. This radio device connects to your computer’s serial port (for data communication), and to its USB port (for power). It has no other connections. The other physical component is the Transmitter. This radio device connects to the Serial Adapter of your TeamBoard, and can be concealed behind your TeamBoard. It also has a power cord that must be plugged into an outlet. When the hardware is connected as described, the TeamBoard controller sends data to the Transmitter, which broadcasts this information via radio signal. The Receiver receives this radio signal, and extracts the original TeamBoard data. It passes this data to the computer’s operating system, making it available to the TeamBoard software.

TeamBoard Suite 1.0 for Mac OS X Last year, Apple Computer released its radical new Operating System, called OS-X. This super-modern Operating System combines the power and stability of UNIX with the simplicity and elegance of the Macintosh. Mac OS X is fast becoming the standard on Mac’s, and is truly a pleasure to work with. Egan TeamBoard Inc.'s new Mac Package includes the standard TeamBoard with our new USB Controller, and special Mac software. The USB Controller is great. Instead of needing a Serial Adapter, Power Cord, Power Adapter and RJ45 cable, you only need the 25’ USB cable supplied by us. (Please see our USB Product Release above) The new software, called “TeamBoard Suite 1.0:mac”, has a fantastic new graphical look. A streamlined Dashboard, all new icons, and a feature-packed Draw with a new tool bar. The Mac TeamBoards are available for order as of April 1, 2002. You must specify that you would like the Mac (MC) option when you order a new Mac TeamBoard. Otherwise Egan TeamBoard will ship the standard Windows software with a Serial Controller. Like our Windows software, TeamBoard Suite 1.0:mac upgrades are always free to registered users. If you wish to purchase a USB Controller with Mac Software to convert an existing Serial TeamBoard, a kit will be introduced shortly. Some Software Notes: TeamBoard Suite 1.0:mac does not include the Virtual Mouse, Virtual Keyboard, Macros or Recorder contained in our Windows software. Future releases will incorporate these features, excluding the Virtual Mouse (Mac OS X does not support two button mice). TeamBoard Suite 1.0:mac requires Mac OS X, Version 10.1.3 or higher and Java 1.3.1, Update 1 or higher.
